General Description

YR/YRKK series high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors (frame size 355~1120mm) are a series of products developed by our company by introducing advanced technology at home and abroad, adopting modern advanced field analysis technology for electromagnetic calculation, and making fine calculation and optimal design for various losses, wind resistance and strength of each component of the motor. The series of products are developed through mature and reliable design and production system, combined with more than seventy years of experience in manufacturing medium and large high-voltage AC motors; with high-quality materials and scientific processing technology in manufacturing, the motors have the advantages of high efficiency, low noise, low vibration, high reliability and easy installation and maintenance.

The YR series products are mainly used in general mechanical equipment such as fans, pumps, compressors, crushers, scrap shredders, belt conveyors, transportation machinery or other similar mechanical equipment in mining, petrochemical industries, power plants, coal, heating system, metallurgy, transportation, textile, pharmaceutical and grain processing industries.

Structure description

Y and YR are the basic series, the protection grade is IP23, and the cooling method is IC01. On this basis, motors with different protection grades and cooling methods can be derived, such as YKS (air-water cooling), YQF (climate protection), YKK (air-air cooling), YRKS, YRQF, YRKK and other series of motors.

The motor adopts the internationally popular box-type structure, and the frame and end cover are made of steel plate welding, with good rigidity and light weight. After removing the protective cover (or cooler), you can observe and touch the inside of the motor, which is convenient for the installation and maintenance of the motor. The stator adopts external press-fitting structure. The stator winding is made of Class F insulating material and anti-corona material. The end of the winding is fixed by special binding process, which is firm and reliable. The whole stator is treated with vacuum pressure impregnated Class F solvent-free paint (VPI). As a result, the motor has excellent and reliable insulation performance and moisture resistance and impact resistance.

Most of the squirrel cage rotors of this series of motors adopt cast aluminum rotors, without copper bar rotor broken bar phenomenon, and the operation is reliable; the squirrel cage copper bar rotor adopts advanced and reliable welding technology and is fastened in the slot. The wound rotor shall be of Class F insulation and vacuum pressure impregnated with Class F solventless paint (VPI).

Bearing has two types of rolling bearings and sliding bearings, depending on the size of the motor power and speed, the basic type of protection grade IP44. For example, when the motor has a higher protection level, the protection level of the bearing is also increased.

Motors with rolling bearing structure have non-stop oil filling and oil discharge devices, and special oil filling tools can be used for non-stop oil filling and oil discharge.

The main outlet box is of sealed structure, and the protection grade is IP54. Generally installed on the right side of the motor (from the shaft extension end), according to user needs can also be installed on the left side. The inlet hole of the outlet box can be switched up, down, left and right. There is a separate ground terminal in the box.

Starting of asynchronous motor (YR/YRKK series High Voltage Wound Rotor Three Phase Electric Motor)

The rotor of squirrel cage asynchronous motor adopts advanced calculation technology to calculate the starting temperature rise and stress of the squirrel cage rotor, so as to prevent the motor from being damaged early due to the heavy starting load. User is advised to check:

(1) The moment of inertia of the rotating part of the driven mechanical equipment (after conversion to the motor speed) shall not exceed the value of [Load J] in the technical data sheet;

(2) The user's power grid should ensure that the motor terminal voltage during the starting process of the motor is not less than 85% of the rated voltage;

(3) The resistance torque characteristics of the driven machinery are the resistance torque characteristics of water pumps and fans.

Under the above conditions, the motor is allowed to start twice continuously in the actual cold state, and the motor is naturally stopped between two starts; or it is started once in the hot state of the motor. Restarting the motor beyond the above limits shall be after 1 hour of shutdown.

If the moment of inertia of the mechanical rotating part of the motor drive exceeds the value of (load J) in the technical data sheet, or the motor is required to be started frequently, or the motor may be started with heavy load, please contact our company in advance for special design to ensure the reliable starting of the motor.
